Nickelback

The best way to define Nickelback is the act of willingly allowing one's ears to bleed. Then why do so many people like this band? I feel that Nickelback is the reason why we have this perpetuating sound of music on the airwaves that is mediocre, non-creative and non-original. You know the music industry is going down when crappy bands like this can flourish, while true artists are forced to remain on the underground.

Metallica

James Hetfield is a tool bag. Actually, the band itself is a bag of tools. Metallica started the whole "Oh my god, stop downloading my music illegally or I'm going to sue you" thing. The only decent cd's they have came out with have been over 30 years ago. I think it's time they hang up their axes and lay down their sticks. In conclusion, I'm hoping Metallica gets abducted by aliens and forced to play the same songs over and over again so they will know how it feels. Thank you 933 WMMR.

Coldplay

I must admit, when I first heard this band, I did not think they were too bad. Then I listened to another song by them and realized all they're songs sound the same. There was so much hype when Coldplay first came around, now only die-hard fans remain. I hate those horrible little piano riffs he throws in every song. I also hate how his voice constantly sounds like he is about to sneeze but he sings anyway. It's simply stunning how anyone could still like coldplay after listening to one their cd's, which sounds like one long song!

Evanescence

If you were to record you're goth sister crying after every time she got rejected by a young stud at the junior high, and set it to horror movie music, you would have evanescence's entire song list. How did they get famous you ask? Well, some say they used sorcery or magic spells because that's the only way they could have done it. They're constantly changing band members, probably because they are all realizing how bad they are. Ben Moody, the lead guitarist quit mid tour because he even got fed up with evanescence's terrible sound. The band released an album in 2010, and were since reported missing. Hopefully it stays that way and this band never resurfaces.

DISTURBED

Anyone who listens to Disturbed is disturbed. Trust me when I tell you that in every song by this band, they use the same riff. It just sounds like quick chugs in D tuning. Don't even get me started on the lyrics. OHH WAH AH AH AH. Yeah, that sounds pretty catchy. I'm being sarcastic if you couldn't tell. How any band label listened to this band and actually liked it is beyond my reckoning. They are terrible!

The Dave Matthews band

What do you call a crappy band with too many members? The Dave Matthews band. You would think this band would be good because they have a guitarist, a saxophonist, violinist, bassist, keyboard player, and drummer. But the fact is this band is annoying. What I don't understand is why the singer sounds so terrible. He has an annoying accent. Also, when they play in concert it just sounds like they're jamming onstage, which is not a good thing.

AFI

Okay, so I wanna start off by saying that I like everything this band has done up until Sing the Sorrow in 2003. After that, i don't know what happened to them. They started to sell out and with every CD, you can tell they were just focusing on what kind of music was popular at the time. They seemed to stop making music for themselves, but to just play stuff the public would like to hear. If they stuck to their roots, then i would not be blogging about them right now.

Insane Clown Posse

Wow, the first time i heard this "band" I almost jumped off the nearest bridge. The band consists of two wannabe rappers that write the worst songs. All their songs have unnecessary dirty lyrics which is lame. This type of music is considered a combination of rock and rap which just should never happen. There is also a cult following of this band and they call themselves Juggalo's. They claim not only is it a band, but a way of life. It physically angers me that so many people are apart of this. I'm probably pissing a lot of people off right now, but thats just my opinion.

Lil' Wayne

My opinion might be a bit biased because i do not like rap that much, but even I can tell Lil' Wayne it terrible. Not only can you barely hear what he's saying,  all his rhymes are just lame play on words. Some of his similes don't even make sense and it angers me that anyone can like this crap.

Design the Skyline

In all my years of music listening, I've never came across a band that i heard, which in the first 30 seconds i completely despised. They go from sporadic death to to the softest lame chorus. That's not all, they all look like the biggest tools. You can easily tell there songs are edited to the fullest extent. All their voices sound auto-tuned and it still sucks.
If you dont believe me just watch the first 30 seconds of their music video I posted below.

Creed

Okay, so where do I start on a band that is terrible in almost every way? Some may call "Creed" alternative, grunge, christian, or just plain rock. I have developed a new term to describe bands that sound like this. The term is called butt-rock. I believe this to be the best way to describe "Creed's" crappy sound. First of all, the music is boring and slow. The guitar riffs are extremely plain and non creative. To make matters worse, the singer of the band has the most annoying voice. He just keeps grunting in the mic and says YESEAHHH every five seconds. They suck!

Intro to the Music that Dan Hates Blog

In this blog, I, Dan Esposito, will be examining and breaking down every detail about bands that I hate. Have you ever been driving down the road, waiting in line at a store, or listening to Pandora radio when you heard a band that made you want to cut your own ears off? This for some reason happens to me almost every day. I cannot allow these terrible bands to crowd the airwaves any longer without saying something about it. So follow my blog if you feel the same way, or disagree with me completely. Its up to you.
